Once we receive your application an email and a letter will be send to you acknowledging your application. It will also contain important information about ?My Application’ – students’ portal. It is very important that you check the portal on regular basis as most communication will be via the portal or email. Once the application has been processed we will offer you an interview or invite you to send in a portfolio of your work if you are too far away to come here.
If you are planning a visit to the UK and wish to have an interview please contact International Office as an interview can usually be arranged to fit in with you (subject to you giving us adequate notice). Alternatively, you may be offered an interview in your own country if we are planning to visit in the near future.
If you are coming here for an interview we will send you details of how to get here and guidelines of what to include in your portfolio (though you can access this information yourself from the Courses section on the main website).
If you are requested to send us a portfolio we will send you detailed guidelines of what we would like to see and how to send it to us by email or post. Please note that you will be given 2 month deadline to send us your portfolio after we receive your application. If you have any difficulties in meeting the deadline, please contact us.
Applications are then considered (usually by the Course Leader of the programme you are applying for) on the basis of your portfolio, academic qualifications, employment experience, personal statement and references. (If you are overseas we may also arrange a telephone interview at a convenient time for you).
