The Learning Support team supports and advises students who have a Specific Learning Difficulty such as dyslexia, with academic work, personal organisation and study skills.
We know there’s a strong link between the arts and dyslexia, so we ask all our new students to undertake a brief screening exercise so that we can be sure we’re offering you the right kind of support. If you’re a higher education student, we may refer you to an Educational Psychologist for a firm diagnosis. And we do this right at the start of your course, so you can get the help you need straight away.
We can provide one to one tutorials to help you develop the study skills and strategies you’ll need for your course , and advise you about extra support that may be available, such as the Disabled Students’ Allowances for UK higher education students. All enquiries are treated as confidential and support is available from your initial application throughout the duration of your studies at AUCB.
You can contact the Learning Support team for advice and guidance at any stage in your application or studies with AUCB:
