Work Placements
Work experience is an integral and valued part of the Interior Architecture and Design programme.
All students are required to undertake a work placement for the last four weeks of their first year of study. The student produces a report of their experience, handed-in over the summer, and it is this report that forms the assessment of the placement. The onus is placed on the student to find their own work experience with the course team offering full support in guidance on cv’s, portfolios, letters and applications and references. The course has an extremely good record in securing placement opportunities with many students going on to be offered regular holiday work as well as employment opportunities after graduation. Listed below are just some of the design offices who have provided placements over the past year.
