Staff Research

Russell Gagg BA (Hons) B Arch (Manc) RIBA:

Research Interests:

Russell is currently working on a project with RIBA Futures and the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) considering: The Future of Place and Identity in Architecture. This project is currently developing a proposal for PhD/MPhil study questioning if there is such a thing as an identity that a society portrays through the design of their built environment or, if an architectural identity exists, is it only borne of the aspirations and actions of individuals?

Onur Ozkaya MSc (AA):

Parallel to his Academic works, Onur based in London, practicing in UK as designer and technologist mainly consulting on geometry and fabrication of Industrial designs.

His works published and exhibited in London, Istanbul and recently in Tokyo design week 2009.

Josef Huber MA (RCA) RIBA:

Josef’s research interests concern his practice as an interior architect and concentrate on innovative approaches to and methodologies of contemporary practice. Josef is currently involved in establishing a staff/student project office that will give first-hand experience to students in running competitions and live project briefs.
