Work Placements

The course initiates a range of opportunities for students to gain experience with regional and local galleries, museums and schools. These have included Bournemouth School, the Russell Cotes Galleries & Museum, The Kube, Poole, and ArtSway in the New Forest. Some projects involve cross course collaboration such as Hide, an annual week long project between Fine Art and Architecture students – brainstorming ideas and sharing work practice to further inter-course links and develop future collaborative work. A selection of students from all years are working with artist Hew Locke, making one of Hew’s ‘Museums’, a major piece of work for the artist.
