Please make sure you have read our terms and conditions carefully as they must be agreed at the time of booking. To book onto one of our Specialist Summer Courses you need to book online via our website or download a booking form.
All enrolments are subject to the following conditions which become legally binding on acceptance of enrolment by the Arts University College at Bournemouth
Payment
1. Full payment must be received before we can enrol you onto the course.
Confirmation of course
2. Once we have received and processed your booking we will send you confirmation. If you have paid online you will get an automated email from AUCB and also from the online payment provider, PayPal. If you enrol via the short course office, we will send you out a confirmation email and a receipt of payment will be sent from our registration team.
Cancellations by us
3. The courses all have a minimum attendance level and may have to be cancelled if students drop out at the last minute or we do not receive sufficient numbers to run the course. We will try to keep you up to date with this information if it looks likely that your course may not run.
4. It is compulsory for the Student to be at all times comprehensively insured to cover all costs and consequences of recovery of course fees and flights booked or needed in the event of cancellation or early departure. We will not be liable for any losses (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs) arising as a consequence of any modification or cancellation of courses or time-tabling constraints beyond the cost of the course fee.
5.The Arts University reserves the right to make such changes to the course programme as may be necessary for reasons of quality, operational efficiency or circumstances, including industrial action, beyond our control. If we cancel a course, all participants will be notified and all payments refunded in full. Refunds of fees will normally only be made in the event of the cancellation of a class by AUCB. Please refer to the University College’s ‘Fees and Charges Payment Policiy’ – copies of which are available from the Finance and Registry departments.

Please see our separate information about the accommodation we use for during the summer. If we cancel a course, all participants will be notified and all payments refunded in full. Refunds of fees will normally only be made in the event of the cancellation of a class.
Transferrals
9. You can transfer to another course at the discretion of the Short Course Co-ordinator.
Non-attendance
10. Non-attendance of classes due to illness or for personal or professional reasons does not provide the right to a refund, extra tuition or a transfer.
Insurance
