Do you want to write scripts for film, television and radio drama?
This intensive course looks at all the major elements and craft components of dramatic script writing, from structure to characterisation, dialogue, professional formatting and more.
Each evening, a different area of craft will be studied using presentations, relevant examples and group workshopping. In addition, students will have a chance to work on their own script, developing a project from initial idea to a proposal document with the help of group discussions and advice from the tutor.
At the end of the course, students will have a clear overview of the industry, ist expectations and how to progress within it, along with the necessary tools to write compelling original scripts.
What you need to bring:
A notebook, a pen, an open mind … and a good imagination!
