We will also cover cold enamelling techniques, using resin to capture found objects or images that can be used to embellish jewellery designs. Patination will be covered as a means of colouring copper as well as colouring anodized aluminium and stone setting. You may wish to try all processes offered or focus on just one or two, as you wish.
Through an informative induction, you will be provided with relevant Health and Safety information regarding good workshop practice.
What you will need to bring:
A selection of enameling colours (see appendix for suppliers). Most of the equipment will be provided and your tutor will give details as to where to purchase further materials. You should wear old clothes and closed toe, flat shoes.
