Graduation Ceremony 2012
Our annual Graduation Ceremonies will be held on Friday 29th June 2012 at Wimborne Minster in Dorset, followed by a reception on campus with refreshments and live entertainment.
Tickets
On-line booking for ticket sales will commence on 30th January 2012. You will receive an email to your student email address with instructions on how to register and purchase tickets for yourself and guests.
Tickets will be released closer to the ceremonies and issued to the address or your choice (home or term time) or via collection from the Graduation Office.
The Graduation Office is located on the ground floor of University House (next to Registry) and will be open from Monday to Friday during the following hours:
10am – 12pm
2pm – 4pm
See the live webcast on 29th June in University House main reception and also in the Arts Bar, no ticket required, all are welcome!
Ceremonies and tickets
Ceremonies will be held throughout the day in Wimborne Minster. Guest entry is strictly by ticket admission only. Some guest seats may have poor sightlines and guests are encouraged to arrive early as seating is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Guests with disabilities or access requirements are urged to contact the Graduation Office in advance of the ceremonies.

Receptions
Everyone is welcome to join us on the AUCB campus after the ceremonies for refreshments and live entertainment. Entry to campus is free. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase champagne and other soft drinks from our bar along with snacks. Students must return to campus after the ceremonies in order to return their hired gowns.
Academic Dress
Students are required to wear Academic Dress for the occasion. This can be hired from our supplier Ede and Ravenscroft via their website (please see ‘relevant links’). Gowns must be ordered in advance of the ceremonies. Please note that savings will be made if you book online, rather than over the telephone. Please note that you will not be able to hire Academic Dress on the day of the ceremonies, this must be done in advance.
Photography
Our official photographers, Ede and Ravenscroft, will be present on the day to take photographs. You will be able to pre-order a photography package via their website or purchase on the day (please see ‘relevant links’). Please note that savings can be made by pre-ordering.
Commemorative DVD
DVDs of each ceremony will be available to pre-order for £25.00.
Live Webcast
The ceremonies will be streamed live over the internet. A link to the webcast will be placed on our homepage on Graduation day.
Tickets: Graduating students
The cost of a student ticket is £10.00 which includes entry to Wimborne Minster and also a glass of champagne and portion of strawberries and cream at the AUCB reception after the ceremony.
Tickets: Guests
The cost of an adult guest ticket is £25.00 which includes entry to Wimborne Minster and also a glass of champagne and portion of strawberries and cream at the AUCB reception after the ceremony.

Picnic Lunch Ticket
Students and guests are invited to purchase a Picnic Lunch with wine for £12.50 to be served at the AUCB after the ceremonies.
Coach Ticket
We will organise coaches throughout the day in between AUCB and Wimborne. A return ticket costs £3.00 per person.
Queries
The AUCB is not able to assist students with the costs associated with attending Graduation Ceremonies. However, students who have general financial issues or are in financial hardship should contact Student Services for advice.
